We aim to assist you throughout any project including estimating fabric quantities, costs, through to giving help and advice as required. Our skilled staff, many with over 20 years’ service, have made possible the rapid growth of Premierchoice. Premierchoice are suppliers to independent high end retailers, department stores, and major volume customers.

Premierchoice has developed the perfect hand finished roman blinds which are supplied with a cassette system and a variety of linings. Roman blind pelmets are available for outside recess. Blinds can be made up to 3m in length and width, they can be lined, interlined and blackout lined. An increasing number of customers are using bonded or bonded blackout lining giving a crisp, sharp looking blind less prone to fabric movement.

Borders, trims, braids and pelmets can be added to Roman Blinds to enhance their appearance. These are available as hand finished. Machine made blinds can be made with a hand stitch to the top so no visible stitching is shown where the Velcro is attached to the head rail.

Battery remote systems are increasingly popular, Premierchoice work closely with both Somfy and Qmotion to provide the latest systems available. New heavy weight battery systems are capable of lifting roman blinds up to 3m wide and that weigh up to 7.5kg. All systems are operational via apps and can be integrated with smart home technology. Child safety is an area taken very seriously by Premierchoice. All blinds come with safety information and comply to BS EN 13120

Premierchoice can make one-off curtains from handmade interlined, angle headed, swags and tails through to specifications aimed at the volume market. All types of headings are available - Pinch, Triple, Double, Single Pleat, Wave, Invisible wave, Cartridge, Goblet, Pencil and Eyelet headings including 66mm diameter.

Customers are welcome to supply their own lining; however, most use Premierchoice linings. Our linings have been selected on quality and price. Our standard ivory/cream lining is crease resistant and pre-shrunk. We are able to supply Domette, Bump and synthetic interlining, also pre-shrunk. Voiles have their own specialised department with staff and machinery especially selected for this demanding type of product. We embrace voiles where most makers try to avoid them.

We specialise in the addition of borders, beading and braid and are happy to inset or attach to leading edges. Curtains are test hung prior to despatch.

Pelmets are constructed from Essex Board which is a 4mm thick, high density card and the light weight alternative to MDF or ply. It is covered in wadding which is available in varying weights: 4oz, 6oz and 8oz. The back is covered with hand stitched lining, returns are cut during construction and Velcro is attached to the top for fixing to a pelmet board (not supplied).

Cushion covers are available in a continually expanding range of shapes and sizes. These vary from Standard Square zipped to heavily trimmed bolsters.
