Paulas Blinds is a locally owned company supplying awnings for the public and commercial sectors. We sell the full range of Markilux awnings our most popular being the Markilux 990, this is a full cassette awning which means the awning cloth when not in use is protected from the elements. The awning cassette itself comes in 3 different colours silver (ral 9006) white (ral 9016) and brown (ral 8019).The cloth is made of acrylic and available in many different colours from plains to stripes.

Our Dutch Canopy sub structure is made from aluminium extrusion and the covers are available in acrylic or vinyl.

Dutch Canopies are suitable for both the commercial and domestic markets, they are easy to take down in the winter months if you wish to store them away from the elements. The majority of acrylic canopies are cord operated, you pull the cord and the canopy folds back against your wall. The vinyl canopies are mainly rigid canopies as these are waterproof and will not fold back as neatly as the acrylic ones.

Child Safe products can be offered on the majority of our binds these include:Cord Tidies.Sewn in Weights on the bottom of vertical blinds.Wand operation on vertical blinds.Cord Breaks (these snap apart when pressure is too great on the cord).The above are offered at no extra charge to our products.We can also supply anti-ligature on vertical,roller, curtain and shower rails.

Paula's Blinds supply custom made curtains to both the domestic and commercial sectors using all flame retardant fabrics for the latter. Curtain fabric samples are available to take away from our showroom, where you will find examples of various curtain headings to include pencil pleat, pinch pleat, goblet style and eyelets. Top dressing will add that touch of luxury in the form of straight or shaped pencil pleat with or without contrast buttons, flat padded pelmets or swags and tails.Many fabrics are available in co-ordinating designs with colourways giving exciting mix and match ideas for cushions and roman blinds with curtains.

We offer a free measuring service followed by a quotation for supply only or to include a full fitting service. A wide range of curtain poles and tracks are available to order.

We supply insect screens to both the commercial and domestic markets. The screens can be permanent, these screens stay in the window and roll up and down or side to side. Alternatively, we can fit a fixed screen, this is held onto your window with magnets and you simply click this into place when you open the window.

Panel blinds are an elegant and yet very versatile shading option for the larger window, they can also be used for room dividers.

When open the panels stack back neatly behind each other allowing maximum light into the room. Sliding the panels into the closed position creates a complete fabric screen providing light control and increased privacy. We have an extensive range of fabrics to choose from including woven wood.

Louvolite perfect fit - with this system the blind fits neatly into a frame and clips into your upvc window.It moves with your window so is suited to tilt and turn windows as well as conventional upvc windows, the frames come in a range of colours and we can put pleated venetian or rollers in them.

Pleated blinds are suited to any room, they can be manufactured to most shapes so are very well suited to conservatories. We use a 20mm pleated system and most of our fabrics have a solar protection backing, this helps control light and also reduces heat build up.

Our roller blinds range is available in many different colours and materials including flame retardant, black-out, light filtering and even waterproof (these are well suited to shower rooms).

Our roman blinds can be used in any room in your house or conservatory they are made as standard with cream or white lining and are available in a vast choice of fabrics.

Our Luxaflex shutters are available in a range of colours, they are suitable for most rooms in your house including conservatories.

Luxaflex shutters are available in 4 different louvre widths 32mm 48mm 64mm and 89mm and you can choose from high gloss paint finishes through to various shades of white, woodtones, real cedar or oak.

Our metal venetian blinds come in huge range of colours from standard colours to softone metallics and woodtones. We have 4 different slat sizes, these are 15mm 25mm 35mm and 50mm. By far the most popular are the 25mm size, the advantage of venetians are they take up very little room on the window sill,they can be tilted to give privacy whilst also allowing light into the room.

Wooden venetian are very popular.

They come in 2 sizes - 25mm and 50mm, there are many different colours available, from white through to dark wood and also black. You can add tapes to the blind to cover the the holes where the cords run through and these are also available in wide choice of colours.

Vertical blinds are a very popular choice for a single window or in a conservatory as you can angle the slats so they let light into the room whilst maintaining privacy.

Vertical blinds can be made one way so they pull across to one side of your window or they can be split so they pull back to either side of the window at no extra cost to you.

Our service includes coming to your home, free surveying measuring and fitting. Our sales/fitters team are employed by us and are non commission based so you get the blinds that best suit your needs.

As with all our blinds child safe options are available at no extra cost, these can include cord tidies and the option to have weights sewn into the bottom of the slats - this eliminates the need for chain on the bottom of the slats.

Woven wood blinds are available in two styles - roman and roll up. The roman hangs flat when lowered as does the roll up but when you pull the roman up it folds up in neat folds stacking behind the valance. The roman style can be used in your conservatory roof.

Woven woods is a collection made from bamboos or wood, they are selected from sustainable forests from around the world.
