The business was founded as a partnership in 1987 by husband and wife team Mike and Sue Watling with the focus on manufacturing roof blinds for the conservatory industry, which was then in it’s infancy.

Their previous experience in engineering was invaluable in solving the problems of making blinds in the shapes required for the Victorian and Georgian style buildings.During the early days the couple did the designing, selling, manufacturing and installing themselves, however the business expanded rapidly and soon began to employ more people.

Panel Blinds
Panel blinds are a new and innovative shading option especially ideal for large glass expanses and Patio and French Doors. They are also a perfect solution for a room divide. They are neat and sophisticated and give any room a modern spacious feel. They open with each panel sliding behind the previous on a multi-channel track. They are available in a wide range of fabrics from textiles to woodweave.
Pinoleum Blinds
inoleum blinds transform the harsh glare of the sun into soft dappled light to give a conservatory a relaxing, traditional ambience. The material was used 100 years ago in the first conservatories and still retains its popularity today. Pinoleum blinds are the “original” conservatory blinds. Pinoleum fabric is manufactured from timber grown in sustainable managed forests. The fabric is available in a range of natural designs and tones as well as in a range of colours. Pinoleum can also be custom painted.
Pleated Blinds
We have a wide range of fabrics suitable for Pleated blinds. Thermal performance and durability are paramount in our choice of fabric range, we only use high performance fabrics to maximise glare elimination and protection for Furnishings from harmful UV rays. Add these fabrics to our hardware systems which are designed for ease of installation, neat appearance, strength, ease of use and you have the perfect combination. Pleated blinds are especially suited to low pitch Lean-to type conservatories.
Roller Blinds
Roller blinds are a simple, practical and effective window covering. Fabrics come in a vast range of colours and designs from bold patterns to faux suede. There are also “black-out” fabrics for that extra darkness and fabrics coated especially to provide solar protection. Roller blinds can be finished with decorative scallops, braids and co-ordinating poles and finials.

We offer an exclusive range of fabrics including Solar Plus a highly thermally efficient material that reflects the sun’s heat during the day and insulates during the night. Solar Plus is designed to be the most thermally efficient fabric on the market, it is neither laminated nor woven which means is not susceptible to curling or fraying.
